Magi - Chapter 365 Analysis
It's Zoey again with a chapter analysis. Be aware that 366 will be out this Friday. So this was a fun analysis to break down as it came out almost a week ago. Enjoy~
365 Magi Chapter Analysis
ᵀᴴᴱ ᶠᴵᴺᴬᴸ ᴬᴿᶜ
It gets more interesting per chapter that comes out. Thanks to Booty for the last chapter analysis, I decided to break down this chapter. Here we start off with Morgiana choosing sides and to help Alibaba and everyone else by taking down the angels. Isn't everyone quite happy that Toto and Olba appear to help Morgiana? But they were seen quite flabbergasted and confused at first. They had their rukh rewritten a few months ago and after the spell was undone, they felt different. Quite strange here?
So the picture that is portrayed is Arba standing next to Nerva on a magic carpet. I was quite shocked seeing them together. I have mix feelings with Arba but she is watching everyone down below seeing how they were confused and different. So basically people have wanted to die and now they seem to not understand why they wanted to return to the rukh. But Arba talks to Nerva about the collective dream and how it has been affecting everyone because of Sinbad's will. This is heartbreaking because Sinbad may die in the up coming few chapters and this has hinted why. I don't know how I would feel if the Sacred Palace gets destroyed and Sinbad dies. It's hard for me to process the probabilities.
But soon enough, more people have been joining up to defeat the angles of death (that I like to call them as well). Even though Nerva spotted how everyone is suffering greatly and hoping to hold their dear lives so the world wouldn't fall back into the rukh. Arba turns back to Nerva and stated how everyone is fighting same enemy known as the "common enemy". This brings me back to the Magnostadt incident. Such a crucial and heartfelt scene.
Kougyoku seemed so stressed. She was upset once again of the memory that she wanted to return to the rukh. She begins to ponder on what would have happen if she had returned to the rukh. Around this point she hears Alibaba's voice reach out to her. Alibaba is still alive, don't worry to all of you Magi fans and yes he is fine. Alibaba then tells her to stop the process of everyone returning to the rukh. Still it hasn't been stopped yet.
Don't we still love Kouen? In a close by scene, he states that the spell was about to ware off from the Sacred Palace. Still we have no idea what was going to happen. Alibaba didn't want to take any chances and Kougyoku has no idea what was happening once again.
I get heart aches every time I see Koumei appear, still I adore this character. Now we learn that the core has been lying elsewhere which is in Magnostadt. Now this is where it gets better when they decided to end the problem. Remember that the Sacred Palace is technically above Magnostadt and looks like another medium may happen again because Ill Illah maybe back once again. Again Alibaba suggested to attack as a team and not individually. The whole cycle is to prevent a second Medium from happening and to save the world from returning to the rukh.
As the scene swapped Alibaba still wanted Aladdin to leave because David is still a threat. I kind of wondered what happened to them going to the great rift to find David's body. Maybe this is what Alibaba wanted Aladdin to do. But no, Aladdin left to find the main problem and hears Sinbad's voice in the end of the chapter. This gets us readers all anxious on wanting to find out what happens. Sinbad is dying and this is quite heart breaking.
My Final Thoughts
It's possible we may have another Medium attack by Ill Illah. But I'm curious to know what Nerva's and Arba's role would be. Technically they are both fallen. I'm curious to know who they would help. They aren't seemly doing anything just yet. But Arba has been feeding him information on the situation. Also Aladdin seem to be quite shocked to hear Sinbad's voice in the end of this chapter. Would Aladdin save him?
Although the chapter isn't fully translated, I have grasped my understanding on the situation. Everyone seemed to feel confused and a bit lost. I'm happy to say Kouen never fell for this trick and was his normal self. But I'm quite upset on Sinbad's situation. I bet some others are feeling the same. If the Sacred Palace does get destroyed, it does seem that Sinbad may die in the end. But quite curious on Ugo here since we haven't seen him in a bit.
What would your thoughts be if Ill Illah is finally back once again? Aladdin seems to be busy going to deal with him and now David is still quite a problem. My last problem with all of this is some of the missing characters. Kouha is still not here? Quite intriguing still but still missing in this. Although it seems that Ill Illah may be another problem, the will of Sinbad is slowly dying. The chapter is overall really good. I am interested to figure out what happens next.
